An information centre in Kidlington could be forced to close because of a lack of volunteers.
The Kidlington & District Information Centre in Exeter Hall has offered residents advice on a wide range of topics since 1983 -- from benefits and tourism to retirement and legal issues.
An independent registered charity, KADIC is supported by Cherwell District Council and National Lottery grants, but a lack of volunteers has led honorary secretary Les Morris to issue an urgent appeal for help.
He said: "We only have eight volunteers at the moment, but we need 12 to 15. We are only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 3pm, but we would like to open on Mondays and Fridays too."
Anyone interested in volunteering should call KADIC on 01865 378479 or visit the office.
