ERITH & BELVEDERE 4, BANBURY UTD 4: Banbury United's scoring sensation Norman Sylla took his goal haul to 20 goals in 16 starts, scoring a brace in last night's Dr Martens League Eastern Division eight-goal thriller with Erith.

In also made it just one defeat in Banbury's last 13 games.

George Redknap headed Banbury in front from Norman Sylla's cross, before Richard Vercesi and Gowler gave Erith the lead for the first time in the game.

Sylla then notched Banbury's equaliser as the teams went into the break at 2-2.

But an uncharacteristic mistake by defender Jason Allen allowed Erith to take the lead again through Vercesi's second strike, before Sylla took his haul to 20 for the season with the equaliser.

Banbury again took the lead when Redknap headed home his second goal of the game with 15 minutes remaining.

It looked as though Banbury would claim all three points, but with just seconds remaining, Adams hammered home a poor clearance from Banbury keeper Simon Tricker to end Banbury's hopes.
