A garden centre is doubling in size to stock more plants, Christmas gifts and fireworks.

The Q Garden Company in Chinnor, near Thame, took over the existing nursery two years ago and bought the lease last year.
The company has outline planning permission to use the whole 3.5-acre site, but retail director James Lentle said the nursery would use the extra space to extend its range of plants. He added: "Our aim is to offer the best range within a 20-mile radius."
