Striker Scott Taylor could make his Banbury United comeback in the Dr Martens Cup first round at Ilkeston Town tonight (Wed).

Taylor, who was sidelined by a knee injury before going away with the RAF to Cyprus, last played for Banbury on August 31 when he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over Berkhamsted Town in the FA Cup.

But he is back in the country now and has been added to tonight's squad.

Goal machine Norman Sylla, who is having a trial at Brentford, could also play as it has transpired that the west London side's reserves don't have a game this week.

Jody McKay is available again, but Banbury will be without Jon Corbett, who picked up a hamstring injury during last week's 3-0 league win over Ashford, and Kieron Sullivan, who has a twisted knee.

Banbury Utd (v Ilkeston Tn, away): from Tricker, Fuller, Travers, Allen, Simpson, Essex, Stanbridge, Redknap, Sylla, O'Neill, Taylor, McKay, Jenkins, Brock.
