Stand-in striker Tom Fisher hit a four-timer as Harwell Village marched into the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup with a 5-2 win over Compton.

Fisher opened the scoring after 13 minutes and doubled their advantage on 26 minutes.

Compton looked well-beaten when Fisher completed his hat-trick, but two goals in ten minutes threatened a comeback.

But Fisher again calmed any nerves with another super shot over the keeper for his fourth.

And the same man created their fifth, his backheel allowing Mark Whitley to net.

Coleshill United also through to the next round, after they came away from Inkpen Exiles with a solid 3-1 win.

Martin Suter on the mark with Shane Blake getting a brace. Joining them will be Stanford-in-the-Vale, where John Mildenhall (2), Max Kelly and Dean Grimes were on target as they saw off Englefield 4-0.

In all-North Berks League clashes Northcroft saw off Saxton Rovers Res 3-1 after extra-time, with Dave Clarke hitting a brace to add to an own goal.

East Hendred Res lost 2-0 to Ardington & Lockinge, Jeff Crame and Nick Brough on the mark.

Two Division 4 sides to acquit themselves well were Radley, who beat Hagbourne United 3-1 with strikes from Nick Courtney-Cramp, Alan Walker and Steve Hook.
