Counterfeit whisky contaminated with dangerous levels of methanol could be on sale in Oxfordshire.
The Environmental Services department at Cherwell District Council has warned that drinking the fake Johnnie Walker Black Label Scotch Whisky could result in methanol poisoning.
The symptoms include severe abdominal pain, drowsiness, dizziness, breathing difficulties and blurred vision.
All the counterfeit bottles have Spanish writing on the back and the fake lot code LO4P24878342 on the front and back labels. The word distillers in the Royal Warrant statement is misspelt as 'distilleries'.
Call environmental services on 01295 252535 or 01295 221618 if you find a bottle.
