The great-nephew of the late former Prime Minister Sir Antony Eden visited Oxford to explain that drinking a glass of wine can be good for the environment.
Bertie Eden
Bertie Eden cultivates wine at the Comte Cathare vineyards in the Languedoc region of France. He names his wines after plants in the rainforest.
Speaking to a group of students at Green College, during a wine tasting organised on his behalf by Oddbins, he said he will be donating 50p to the Rainforest Foundation for every bottle of his wine sold in England.
His wines -- Una de Gato, Cinchona, Catharanthus Roseus and Discorea -- are stocked at all Oddbins.
