Oxford University prop Kevin Tkachuk will miss tomorrow's traditional clash against Major Stanley's XV as he has been called up for the Canada squad to face Wales at Cardiff this Saturday (November 16).

Tkachuk, who is likely to be on the bench for the Wales game, is replaced at loose head by Deri Hughes.

Oxford will also be without Australian Andrew Willett, who suffered a thigh strain in last week's 45-31 defeat by Wasps, when he shone at fly half, having played previously at centre.

Another Australian, centre John Allen, has recovered from a badly bruised hip and will play alongside Stuart Douglas.

The good news for the Dark Blues is that Matt Honeyben has recovered from an ankle injury and returns at stand-off.

Former British Lions prop David Young is a late addition to the Major Stanley's XV, which contains ten internationals and is captained by All Black legend Zinzan Brooke.

New Zealand scrum half Junior Tonu is a star attraction, along with former Wales internationals Emyr Lewis and Steven Moor, plus a smattering of exciting South Sea Islanders.

The match, which kicks off at 3pm, is sponsored by Tullett and Tokyo Liberty.

Spectators are advised not to bring their cars to the ground, due to lack of parking space.
