Chinnor residents are being given the chance to improve their community.
A public meeting has backed moves to produce a parish plan, which will outline how the community sees itself developing over the next few years.
Now residents are being asked for help to sort out the details by joining a steering committee.
The committee will organise various groups to look at specific aspects of the community and together find ways of making their ideas work.
The parish plan itself will identify what is valuable in the villlage, look at problems and possible solutions, find out what residents want and prepare a plan of action to implement the ideas.
Parish council chairman Lyn Mumford said: "The Chinnor parish plan is not a council venture -- it involves everyone who lives, works or plays in the community here."
