Twenty years of music will be celebrated at Sutton Courtenay on Sunday evening (December 1) when the All Saints Singers and Orchestra perform an Advent Concert in the church.
The centrepiece of the concert will be Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols. It will be performed in a four-part version with the original solo harp accompaniment.
Solo parts will be taken by Kyra Cornwall, from Sutton Courtenay, who sings in the parish choir and with the Royal School of Church Music Southern cathedrals Choir, and Katherine Salisbury, grand-daughter of the musical director and conductor, Patrick Salisbury.
The audience will also hear the premiere of a new work composed by Mr Salisbury called Reflections on an Avian Logo.
William Byrd's canon Non Nobis Domine forms the basis of the new work for chorus and small orchestra.
In their 20 years' existence the Singers have performed 109 choral works.
The concert in All Saints Church starts at 7.30pm.
