Superb throwing by veterans John Curran and Tom Hartnet helped Shelley dent Clare Car Hire's title hopes in a 3-3 draw in the aunt sally Gladiator Beer Seller Friday Invitation League.

The pair both hit sixes, with Curran's coming in a 15-doll haul as Shelley earned a share of the spoils.

Phil Adams (5, 5, 5) starred for Clare Car Hire.

In the Greene King Winter League,The Plough cruised to a 6-0 win over The Three Horseshoes, with Tony Bradford hitting a sixer in his excellent 13-doll haul.

Stuart Fitchett (5, 4, 4) was the star for Oxford Gas in their 4-2 win at New Club.

There was also a 6-0 win for The Bull at The Star & Garter, with Mike Horton and John Horton both clanging off ten.

Pete Dempsey grabbed a sixer in his total of 13 as Shady Bunch beat The Unknowns 4-2 in the Kidlington Indoor League 4-2.

Elsewhere, Green Road Club cruised to a 6-0 win at Rose & Crown, with Alan Middleton (4, 5, 4) the top-scorer.
