Pupils at a Banbury school were forced to miss lessons after faulty pipes left much of the school without heat.
Engineers earlier had found the 40-year-old pipework of the Blessed George Napier School had perished in several places.
Two year groups have been sent home with work.
Engineers will complete temporary repairs costing £15,000 on December 16.
