A Charlbury pub is remembering a keen darts player with a memorial competition.
Tony Pratley, who died recently, played the sport for more than 30 years in west Oxfordshire and was a team member of The Farmers in Sheep Street.
Landlord Pete Scarrott said: "Tony was a very popular player and well-liked by team mates and opponents throughout all the local pubs. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends."
The pub has now bought a memorial cup for an annual competition. It will be played over the weekend of May 3 and 4, with funds being raised for Cancer Research and the Lawrence Nursing Team.
Mr Pratley, who lived at Hughes Close, Charlbury, was 57.
Entry fees for the open pairs competition are £3. For further details telephone Mr Scarrott on 01608 810921.
