Promising sportsmen and women were recognised at an annual awards ceremony.

Pupils at Bicester Community College, Queens Avenue, were presented with awards, which included sports personality of the year and the Bicester Advertiser cup.
Collecting trophies at last Thursday's (April 3) presentation evening were: The Matthew Jackson award, Nikki Holloway and Daniel Monk, both Year Seven; the Extra Curricular award, Ming Lee and Emily Brewster, both Year 10; the Bicester Advertiser cup, Sam Varney and Youshaan Jeewooth; and Team of the Year, Year Nine girls' basketball team and Year Seven boys' football team.
Two students in Years Eight, Nine, 10 and 11 were presented with Sports Personality of the Year.
Teacher Brian Griffin said: "It was an excellent and hugely enjoyable evening which highlighted and celebrated sporting achievements at Bicester Community College."
