A mobile police station will be calling at four villages on Easter Sunday as an experiment.
The mobile station run by Thames Valley Police in its north Oxfordshire division has already been visiting villages regularly on weekdays.
Sgt Brian Toombs, who manages the purpose-built vehicle, said: "We try to find times convenient to residents. If the weather is good I hope that villagers out for a stroll or working nearby in their gardens will drop in and tell us about their concerns."
The first stopover on Sunday will be in Ardley from 11am to noon; Fritwell from 12.15pm to 1.15pm; Souldern from 2pm to 3pm and Adderbury from 3.15pm to 4.15pm.
