A family has bought a care home in a village following the retirement of the original owners.
Fewcott House nursing home in Fewcott, near Bicester, has been bought by the Harrisons, who used to run a small residential home, Fairdale House, in Botley, Oxford.
The family have set up a company, Fewcott House Care Ltd, to run the home. Masih, his wife Fairus, son Neeras and daughter Nerru are directors.
Mr Harrison said: "We closed Fairdale House down to come to Fewcott House, which always had a high reputation for its level of care. We hope to keep up the good work."
The home has 35 residents. It opened 17 years ago and the property dates from the 1680s. It was bought from the Good and Blackford families for an undisclosed sum.
