Witney Roadrunners' juniors put in some fine displays at the Banbury track & field open meeting.

Pride of place went to promising under 17 Adam Miles, who smashed the junior club record in the discus with a throw of 26.91m.

In the under 13 boys' events, Darren Mason knocked five seconds of his previous best in the 800m, winning in 2.36.03, then increased his long jump personal best by 23cm to 4.44m

Witney's newest member, eight-year-old Conor Doyle, made his first appearance on the track, running 10.5secs in the 60m and throwing the cricket ball 18.15m.
