A childminder has won permission to double the number of children she looks after in her Grove home.
Maggie Spencer, of Linden Crescent, applied to the Vale of White Horse District Council for consent to increase the number from six to 12.
Councillors heard there were some concerns from neighbours that the extra children would lead to moretraffic and noise.
The development control committee approved the expansion with a condition that parts of the garden were not used by children, to reduce noise levels.
Mrs Spencer was also asked to encourage parents dropping off their children to use a lay-by next to the A338, and access her home via the garden.
