A Bicester woman is set to turn her home into a gallery.
Val Norris, hard at work
Val Norris will be showing off a lifetime of creative needlecraft at her home in Longfields.
The exhibition will feature embroidered wall hangings, clocks and mirrors, which have been inspired by woodland walks, ruins and history.
She said: "My work is very varied. I don't have a particular theme or style."
Mrs Norris, 59, a former dress maker, now teaches craft and creative embroidery at adult education centres, including Bicester Community College, in Queens Avenue.
She admits she and her home have been "taken over" by embroidery.
Mrs Norris also runs one-day workshops, which can involve travelling up to 60 miles.
Her exhibition takes place from Sunday, June 1, to Tuesday, June 3. For more information, call 01869 241924.
