The funeral takes place on Wednesday next week of Winifred Morris, 85, who was a founder member of Didcot Pensioners' Association.
Born in Appleford, she moved as a child with her family to Long Wittenham, where she met her husband-to-be Royden Morris. They moved to Didcot in 1963.
The late Mr Morris was founder chairman of the Pensioners' Association and his wife was a member of the committee.
The funeral is at Oxford Crematorium at 11.15am.
