Morrells of Oxford League: Lee Keyes grabbed a brilliant second-half hat-trick as Star Wanderers staged a superb comeback to beat Star Royal 4-2 in the Premier Division.

Royal dominated the first period and established a 2-0 lead.

However, the introduction of Wanderers' substitute Jonathan Hall at the break, galvanised them into action, with Keyes's first strike and a quickly-taken free- kick from Darren Maisey bringing them level.

It looked as though the game would end in a draw, until Keyes grabbed two goals in the dying minutes to snatch victory.

Highfield are the new leaders, after they saw off Rose Hill 4-1, to go above Blackbird Leys Sunday on goal difference, and still with a game in hand.

In Division 1, Stadhampton continued their late push for the top, following up a 3-1 midweek victory over North Oxford Conservative Club, with a 4-0 win against Oxford Supporters.

North Oxford Conservative Club got back on track with a comfortable 4-1 win over White Horse.

But they made life difficult for themselves, as they went behind to Kevin Johnson's opener.

That stirred North into action, and they hit back in style with strikes from Craig Bloomfield, Luke Bremner, Andy Wheeler and an exquisite solo effort from Andy Paine.

Arncott thrashed Star Wanderers Res 6-0 to stay on course for the runners-up spot in Division 2.

Arncott took a 1-0 lead, before Wanderers missed a penalty.

This proved to be the turning point, as Arncott immediately went up field and snatched No 2, just before the break.

Arncott took full advantage of a demoralised Wanderers to rattle in four more in the second period.

Chris McMillan, Gareth Soper and Robert Docherty each notched a brace for Arncott.

The Nelson wrapped up the Division 3 championship with three games left, as they beat South Leigh 5-1 - their 13th straight league win of the season.

Keiron Powell hit a hat-trick, with Eddie Wheal, Michaes Herbert and Carl Bloomfield also on target.

Bullnose Morris kept the Division 4 title race open, after they drew 2-2 at leaders The Chequers.

In Division 5, The George, Botley have an unassailable lead at the top after a hard fought 4-3 victory against derby rivals Osney Arms.

North Oxford Conservative Club Res gained a valuable point in a 3-3 draw away to Cowley Rovers in Division 4.

In blustery conditions, Cowley took a 2-0 lead until a deflected shot from youngster James O'Brien reduced the arrears.

Constant pressure by North was rewarded with a 25 yard strike from fellow youngster John O'Dwyer.

However, a disputed penalty left North again trailing.

That was until O'Brien grabbed his second of the game with a 25 yard strike into the top of the net, with just minutes to spare.
