Russell Rodger is managing director of Oxford Environmental Services, a business he launched to recycle printer cartridges.
He already donates 50p to the appeal for every toner or inkjet cartridge he retrieves, but he has now extended the business to schools.
Mr Russell will award a prize in December to the school which collects the most cartridges.
He said: "This should make a lot of money for the campaign."
