The identity of a body found at former allotments in Barton, Oxford, has not yet been released.
The badly decomposed corpse, thought to be a man in his 40s, was discovered on May 1.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and have said they are not looking for anyone in connection with their inquiries. Results of a post mortem at the John Radcliffe Hospital proved inconclusive because of the advanced stage of decomposition.
