Matt Nathanielsz stole the show when Abingdon visited Nuneaton for their final Heart of England League meeting.
The youngster, who will be 14 this week, achieved a National Grade (NG) 1 standard in the 100m with a time of 11.8secs, a NG 2 in the 200m with 24.00, and he also cleared 1.55m in the high jump for an NG3 standard.
To put the icing on the cake, he ran a magnificent last leg for the 4x100m team to clinch victory by one-hund- redth of a second in a time of 51.8 - just outside the club record.
