Maidenhead United striker Steve Hale completes his month's loan spell with Oxford City tomorrow - before heading off to support England's cricketers in the West Indies.

Hale has scored twice in his four games with City, and will be looking to add to his tally when Chesham United visit Court Place Farm in Ryman League Division 1 North.

He is then flying off to the Caribbean for a month to cheer on Michael Vaughan's side in the final two Tests in Barbados and Antigua.

City manager Andy Sinnott said: "He will finish the season with Maidenhead. That is the agreement we have got and after that he is a free agent, so I will be talking to him about coming on a permanent basis."

Strikers Jemaine Ferreira and Dany Wise remain sidelined with ankle injuries. Teenage midfielder Adam Doyle comes into the squad.

Goalkeeper Steve Smith faces a late fitness test before Thame United take on Harlow Town in Ryman Division 1 North at Windmill Stadium.

Smith was ruled out of Thame's 4-2 defeat at Arlesey Town on Tuesday after his shoulder went into spasms during the warm-up.

Milan Barisic is on stand-by, while Jon Mills is expected to have recovered from a viral complaint.

Jon Gardner, who has been told he can play despite having a broken bone in his foot, returns to the squad.

Joey Beauchamp misses Abingdon Town's trip to Camberley Town in Ryman Division 2 as he is in New York.

Darren Clare is out due to work commitments, and Stuart Douglas faces a fitness test on his knee injury.

Centre back Jason Allen will be missing for Banbury United as they look to step up their bid for a top-seven finish in the Dr Martens League Eastern Division when they visit Bashley.

Allen is unavailable due to family commitments, but Mark Essex and Liam O'Neill return to the squad.

Banbury also have the Oxfordshire Senior Cup final against Oxford United to look forward to.

And manager Kevin Brock said: "Every game is important now. We have got to make sure we are fully concentrated."
