Halesowen Tn 2, Banbury Utd 0: Banbury were out of luck as they slipped to defeat in the Southern League Premier Division last night.
Howard Forinton went closest to scoring in the first half when he had an effort cleared off the line by a Halesowen defender.
But Banbury fell behind in the 51st minute when Ian Pope headed home from a corner.
Wayne Blossom then appeared to be brought down in the Halesowen area, but the referee waved play on.
And Banbury went further behind when Jason Moore broke away to score Halesowen's second goal.
