SIR -- Jean Wills's letter (Oxford Mail, October 28) about the breaching of Antisocial Behaviour Orders (Asbos) and subsequent lack of punishment by judges typifies the state of this country.
I am not that old that I cannot remember when crime was punished.
Regrettably, this situation ended when the likes of Ms Wills and Judge Julian Hall came on the scene.
Some crimes resulting in Asbos are both serious and frightening for the people involved.
Perhaps Ms Wills would like to volunteer to take the place of the victims.
She would no doubt also provide the weapons and instruments of crime to make it easier for the culprits.
She might also like to volunteer to take their punishment, if any, for them.
While people like this are listened to, this country will never have a justice system.
