Wallingford have a busy weekend of cup action ahead, as league rugby takes a break, writes MICHAEL KNOX.
Tomorrow, Wallingford, having won their replayed tie with Farnham Royal, visit another Bucks club, Chesham, in the third round of the Powergen Junior Vase.
Then, on Sunday, the men from The Hithercroft entertain Oxford in the first round of the Oxfordshire Cup.
It's one of four Oxon Cup ties this weekend.
Also on Sunday, Blue Boar entertain Defence Academy, while Littlemore are at home to Chipping Norton.
Harwell host Gosford All Blacks in a match switched to Saturday.
Without any league or cup action this weekend, Chinnor host Old Albanians from London Division 1 in a friendly.
"Of our next seven games, six are important league games, which will test the clubs playing resources to the full," said coach John Brodley.
"This game will allow us to examine and ask questions of some of our fringe and squad players to ensure that they can meet the demands expected of them."
Witney, meanwhile, have arranged a friendly at home to Longlevens.
