Former Manfred Mann frontman Paul Jones and his wife, award-winning actress Fiona Hedley Jones, are due to present a special evening event in which the couple talk and sing about what the church and Christianity mean to them as part of a 'church day' at Wallingford's Ridgeway Church on April 9.
Also, at 2.30pm the refurbished Fountain Christian Bookshop, in St Mary's Street, will be opened by David Pawson, who will be signing copies of his book Unlocking The Bible, based on a series of talks he started while in Wallingford.
Tapes of the original talks will also be on sale. The shop sells Christian books, promotional and Sunday School material, Christian CDs and cards.
