There are hundreds of vulnerable children across Oxfordshire whose lives have been improved by the NSPCC -- but the charity fears there are hundreds more still in need of help.
April 5 saw the launch at Oxford's Kassam Stadium of its latest campaign, Stop and Go!, which encourages people to think about how they can help before they begin fundraising.
Oxford United players Tommy Mooney, Chris Tardif, Lee Bradbury and Paul Wanless put their weight behind the scheme, saying it was great to be involved.
NSPCC spokesman Isabel Kelly said: "The idea behind Stop and Go! is telling people to stop and think about how they can help before encouraging them to go off to fundraise.
"We've got fundraising packs for all sectors of the community and all types of activity, from sports events to social celebrations or business partnerships."
