Peace activists are planning to target RAF Brize Norton later this month to voice their opposition over Britain's continued military presence in Iraq.
During a five-day camp near the base, from April 21-24, the protesters plan to hold a mock 'exorcism of the spirit of New Labour'. The public protest will follow a series of similar demonstrations in London.
Oxford city councillor and Green Party member Elise Benjamin will speak at a rally on April 23.
Margaret Jones, spokesman for the Brize Norton peace committee, said: "RAF Brize Norton is the largest airbase in the UK, and a main gateway for the transport of British soldiers to Basra.
"The main purposes of the camp are to engage in dialogue with soldiers and local people, to hold the present Government accountable for its part in the invasion and occupation of Iraq and to call for an end to the occupation by British troops."
Kate Hudson, of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, will also speak at the rally.
