A woman who lost her only sister to a rare neurological disease is organising a charity night to raise funds to help other families affected by the condition.
Michelle Lygo died aged 23 of Rett syndrome -- a rare neurological disease which usually only affects girls -- three years ago.
Her sister Sarah, 22, of Corunna Crescent, Cowley, Oxford, pictured with parents Alan and Sue, vowed she would do something to help other people suffering from it.
Sarah, and two of her cousins, Jackie and Shelly Stiff, have arranged a charity night on Saturday which will feature live music and a raffle.
The event, starting at 7.30pm, will take place at Cowley Conservative Club and include music from soul band Soul Traders.
Sarah, a purchase assistant, said: "The money that we raise goes to giving families support and helping care groups. I know our family benefited from it and so we want to give something back."
So far 250 tickets, which cost £7.50, have been sold. Call 01865 452586 or 07834 239390.
A similar event the family organised two years ago raised almost £4,000.
