Relegation-threatened Oxford City could be boosted by the return of Robin Antonowicz for tomorrow's crucial trip to high-flying Yate, should he respond to intensive treatment on a toe injury.

The centre back, who has missed City's last three games, is rated at 50-50.

Andy Sinnott's side boosted their chances of escaping relegation from Southern League Division 1 West - they are two points above the drop zone - with a win at play-off contenders Ashford, only to plunge into trouble with last week's 3-1 home defeat by Burnham.

"If there's any chance of Robin being fit he will be included in the side," said Sinnott.

"He is a big, strong character and we need players like that at Yate.

"Our confidence is fragile at the moment. I prefer to play the better sides, because you know what to expect.

"It's going to be tin hats time at Yate. We will have to dig in."

Garath McCleary and Ben Freeman could return after injury.

Thame United, who should be safe from the drop, will be without Nik Stewart (leg injury) for their home game with Rothwell Town.

Tony Joyce and John Mills are both unavailable, while midfielder Mark Jones is doubtful with a dead leg.

Brackley Town aim to end a run of three defeats which has seen them drop out of the play-off zone when they travel to promotion contenders Clevedon.

George Redknap will miss Banbury United's Premier Division game against Grantham after having 17 stitches inserted in a head wound suffered against Methyr.

Chris Potter (hamstring) and Les Robinson (knee) are very doubtful, though Mark Essex (hip) should make it.

Banbury are just five points from the relegation zone.

Abingdon Town give a late fitness test to Mark Baker (hamstring) ahead of their trip to Ryman League Division 2 rivals Ware.

Adie Jack (work) and Adam French (knee injury) miss out.
