Woodstock Harriers' ultra-marathon man Dominic Croft recorded a resounding victory in the Anglo-Celtic Plate International Road Race in Dublin, completing the 62-mile course in 7hrs 23mins.

Croft beat the opposition by an astonishing three miles to earn a call-up to the British team at the World 100K Championships later in the year.

Meanwhile, Woodstock finished a creditable 25th overall at the South of England 12-Stage Road Relays in Milton Keynes.

The race comprised six long legs of 8km and six short legs of 5.5km, run alternately, and clocked a combined time of 4.42.22.

Headington Roadrunners finished 29th in a combined time of 4.46.07 - their best result ever in this event, while Oxford City were 32nd in 4.49.33.

O'Shea crossed the line in 1hr 35mins to take home the silver medal.
