Morrells of Oxford Sunday League: Sam Donaldson smashed a hat-trick as Highfield booked their place in the League Cup final with a 4-0 victory over Premier Division rivals Star Royal.

It means that Highfield, the Sam Waters Cup winners, are still on for the treble.

In the first half of Sunday's cup game, only a goal from Highfield's Wayne Blossom separated the sides.

After the break, Sam Donaldson doubled the Sam Waters Cup winners' lead with his first, before he completed his hat-trick.

They now face title rivals Cold Arbour in the final at Roman Way on Sunday (ko 5pm).

Arbour had a harder time of it in their semi-finals as they fought back from two-goals down to beat fellow Premier side Rose Hill 4-3.

Goals from Damien Brackett and Mark Gregory put Rose Hill seemingly in control, before David Jennings reduced the arrears with a deflected free kick.

In the second half, Gary Trinder increased their advantage, but with 17 minutes left Paul Bough clawed a goal back.

And they were level when Carl Bloomfield headed home a corner.

With just four minutes left, a long clearance from Huw Evans confused the Hill defence and Jefferson Harriet nipped in to slot home the winner.

In midweek, Highfield moved to within three points of leaders Cold Arbour, with a 7-3 Premier Division demolition of Rose Hill.

Wayne Blossom scored a four-timer, with Vinny Byfield, Sam Donaldson and Simon King getting the others.

Highfield still have two games in hand on Arbour.

Strugglers Six Bells managed a rare league victory as they beat basement boys Stadhampton 4-1, thanks to doubles from James Hunt and Daniel Morris.

In Division 1, Saxon Warriors kept up their chances of promotion by destroying rivals Riverside 7-1, thanks to a hat-trick from Carl Howard.

Jason Hallat, Matty Elbro, Wayne Holden and debutant Ronnie Williams were also on target.

Alan Foster netted a four-timer as South Leigh crushed Marston Village 4-2.

Marston replied through a Simon Hamlet strike and an own goal.

A Russell McSweeney goal was enough to earn Cowley OMH a 1-0 win over Iffley Harriers in Division 2.
