The Oxford Silver Machine Academy sit proudly at the top of the Conference league after a demolition job on Buxton and Sittingbourne at Oxford Stadium last night.
They made it five meetings unbeaten by thrashing Buxton 63-31 and Sittingbourne 53-37.
Top man on the night was Jamie Courtney with 24 points, followed by Craig Branney with 20.
In the first encounter, the Academy won handsomely on aggregate with Craig Branney, Chris Mills and Kyle Hughes notching maximums. Courtney finished top of the pile with 13 points.
Sittingbourne, mainly through David McAllan and James Cockle, provided Oxford's top riders with something to think about, but the result was never in doubt.
The visitors lost Andre Cross after a heat 10 crash where he clipped the fence at the second turn and ended up half-way down the back straight. He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
