Shipton-under-Wychwood powered into the Oxfordshire final of the npower Village Cup with a 74-run win at Great & Little Tew on Sunday.

The twice former national champions were by an early blow, when Steve Bates was sent back to the pavilion for a duck by Lloyd Brock.

But 73 from Jason Constable inspired Shipton up to 205-9 from their 40 overs.

Great Tew never really got going, despite a fine knock of 64 from Shane Faulkner.

Shipton will host Tiddington in the Oxfordshire final on Sunday week.

Tiddington romped home by seven wickets against Tetsworth.

Left-arm spinner Robin Pykett took 5-20 as Tetsworth were shot out for 81.
