Thame recorded their first win of the season in Ladies' Division 1 of the 2-Pair League.
Lying at the foot of the table having lost all three of their matches, Thame had managed just one rubber all season, yet turned the formbook on its head with a 3- whitewash of Faringdon B.
Ruth Tupper and Catherine Redding were unbeaten at first pair, with Lynn Broadway and Ann Green picking up one-and-a-half rubbers at second pair.
Kingston Bagpuize were another team to get off the mark - and they went one better, beating Faringdon A 4-0.
Sarah Mitchell, Gillian Pearson, Liz Dixon and Jenny Bowen were the players in fine form.
Colston and Oxford City fought out an exciting 2-2 draw in Men's Division 1.
Richard Tucker and Jim Johnston were unbeaten for Colston, but were forced to settle for a draw as City hit back.
