Kidlington are celebrating after having their promotion to the GLS Football Hellenic League Premier Division confirmed at the league's annual meeting at Carterton.
But the news was not so good for Bicester Town, whose relegation from the top flight was rubber- stamped.
Kidlington, who finished third in Division 1 West last term, were handed the second promotion spot, as Trowbridge, who finished runners-up, were unable to bring their ground, up to Premier Division standard.
Kidlington must bring their own Yarnton Road ground up to scratch in time for the big kick-off in August.
But they have been given a massive boost with a £63,000 grant from the Stadium Improvement Fund.
They are carrying out floodlight work, and the grant will allow the club to build a stand and add a hard standing area.
Bicester finished third from bottom - the third time in four seasons that they had finished in the relegation zone - and have finally dropped through the trapdoor to play in Division 1 East next season.
But Bicester chairman David Simpson was philosophical about the drop.
He said: "It's been a struggle on the pitch for several seasons, but we are now in a position to rebuild, and we have heavily invested in our youth set-up.
"The future for the club is looking very bright, and we are hopeful that our fortunes will take a turn for the better.
"We don't want to stay in Division 1. Our focus will be on the first team to win as many games as we can to get straight back up.
"We realise that we will be there to be picked off, but we have an extremely experienced manager in Tim Fowler, and although it will be a long, hard season, we hope to bounce straight back."
Wootton Bassett and Pewsey Vale are also relegated, but there was a reprieve for Chipping Norton Town, who finished fourth from bottom, but stay up.
Abingdon Town's switch from the Ryman League into the Hellenic League was also ratified.
Adderbury Park drop out of the league to return to the Oxfordshire Senior League, and are replaced by Cricklade Town, who are promoted from the Wiltshire County League.
Oxford Quarry Nomads, the side formed by a merger between Oxford City Res and Quarry Nomads, have been placed in Division 1 East, while Old Woodstock Town and Letcombe return to Division 1 West after being switched from the Eastern section.
