Cornbury Festival line-up unveiled

The line-up for this year’s Cornbury Festival near Charlbury has been announced this morning.

Hugh Phillimore, the festival organiser, announced that David Gray, Squeeze and the Noisettes would play on Saturday, July 3 with Jackson Browne, The Feeling, Newton Faulkner and The Blockheads playing on Sunday, July 4.

Full details of the line-up and ticket prices for the festival is now on the website cornburyfestival.com Mr Philimore said: “We got there in the end and I am very pleased — I am a huge Jackson Browne fan and I am thrilled that we have got The Feeling back.

“I promised my wife that we would break even in year seven and that is what I am planning to do.

“There will be lots of Morris dancing and lots of kids doing street theatre — it’s just a great family festival and the 12s and under get in free and so do the over-70s. ”
