A 59-year-old man has been jailed for 16 weeks for a string of offences including shoplifting a joke golf ball.
David Harris, of no fixed address, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court where he admitted stealing food and alcohol worth about £20 from the Co-op and Sainsbury’s, Oxford, and £3.99 of paint from Gill and Co, Oxford, earlier this year.
He also admitted taking £28.96 of goods from Golf Matters in Witney.
He also admitted assault and threatening behaviour in Oxford and Witney.
