The family of a father-of-three who died after he was hit by a car have paid tribute to a passionate football supporter who lived life to the full.
Richard Smith, 42, from Chipping Norton, was a pedestrian in Horsefair, Banbury, when he struck by a black Audi A4 car about 11.30pm on Sunday, February 28.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he died.
Mr Smith’s wife Sarah said: “Richard was a very loving husband and father to his three children.
“He would also do anything he could to help out his family and friends."
