The family of a man who died following a collision in Banbury released a tribute today.
Richard Smith, 42, of Coopers Square, Chipping Norton, died after a collision with a black Audi A4 on the A361 Horse Fair, Banbury, at about 11.30pm on Sunday.
Richard’s wife Sarah said: “Richard was a very loving husband and father to his three children. He would also do anything he could to help out his family and friends.
“He lived life to fullest and was a hard worker and a perfectionist with whatever job he was undertaking. He was a passionate Chelsea football fan and loved spending time watching the match with his mates.
“He will be so sadly missed by everyone who knew him and loved him.
“Forever in my heart, Sarah xx”
Richard’s children also paid tribute to their father. His son Ryan said: “Rest in peace dad you will always be missed” and daughter Ellie: “Dad, I will love and miss you always.”
A 20-year-old man was arrested suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail until April 8.
