ALAS, I will no longer participate in donating to the poppy boxes after the disgusting verdicts on the thieves taking the contents of tins.
It beggars belief that some of these so-called judges are on the same planet as the more down-to-earth general public.
My sympathy goes to all those elderly ex-servicemen and women who brave all weathers to stand on our streets to gather the much-needed income for our servicemen and women who need our donations.
