Lisa Consterdine, 48, also known as Lisa Emmitt, was found unconscious at her home in Purslane Drive, Bicester, in the early hours of Monday.

Her partner Sean Freaney, 50, of the same address, was charged with her murder today and remanded in custody until a hearing at Banbury Magistrates’ Court.

Her daughters, Claire and Kathryn Forster, told of their grief.

They said: “We would like to thank our close friends and family for the flowers and support at this hard time.

“We are going through a terrible time at the moment and would like people to respect our privacy.

“Our mum was beautiful, loving and the best mum ever.

“She adored her grand-daughter and her grand-daughter adored her. She was the best Nana in the whole world and we will miss her.

“Just because she is no longer here, our love for her will never die and she will never be forgotten.

“May her soul rest in peace. We love you mum.”
