Three people needed hospital treatment and several others were injured following a late night brawl in a Jamaican restaurant.
Police were called to Hi-Lo Jamaican Eating House, in Cowley Road, Oxford, at 2.30am on Saturday.
Det Sgt Suzette Allcorn this morning appealed for witnesses, adding police were investigating reports diners were assaulted and demands for money were made.
Det Sgt Allcorn said: “It appears that there has been some sort of altercation between several people in the restaurant.
“This has resulted in several people being injured and three people were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.”
