A dog walker was knocked to the ground then punched and kicked in the head in an unprovoked assault.
The 46-year-old man was putting his dogs into his car which was parked at Evans Lane Park, at the junction of Croft Avenue, in Kidlington, on Sunday, February 14 at about 7.15pm.
Two men, who the victim believed to be joggers, began hitting and kicking the man, causing injuries to his legs and head.
Det Con Sam Bonner said: “The victim was left very shaken by the incident and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything to come forward and help us with our investigation.”
