THIEVES stole a car after reaching through a letterbox and grabbing the keys.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the Jeep Cherokee was stolen from Pudsey Close, Abingdon, sometime between 11.30pm on Saturday and 8.45am on Sunday.
It was found a short distance away on fire on Sunday morning in Peep-O-Day Lane, near the town.
Police urged people to keep their car keys in a safe place and urged anyone with any information about the theft to call officers on 08458 505505 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555111.
