Police in Wantage stopped and searched two men who they believed were acting suspiciously in the Market Place, Wantage, at about 11.30pm on Saturday.
The men, aged 18 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class-A drugs. They have been released on police bail until March 7.
Insp John Turner said: “I would like to reassure the community that drugs will not be tolerated in the area and we will take a proactive approach to tackle those who deal drugs or take drugs in the Vale.”
