After a long break due to bad weather, Ardington came out fighting and took a 1-0 lead just 20 seconds into the game. With a supreme long ball from Jaden Wilkins, he found Scott Webb who sent a perfect ball into the box where Michael Moss was waiting to flick it home giving Harwell and Hendred's keeper no chance.
Harwell and Hendred came back strong with heads held high and sent a good ball through the centre but were unable to beat Jordan Pierce and James Ormrod in Ardington defence. The rest of the first half was much the same with good end to end play.
In the second half Harwell and Hendred started strong, forcing outstanding saves from Danny Wilkins in the Ardington goal. With both teams battling hard, the game could have gone either way. Luca Bulman forced some good saves from the Harwell and Hendred keeper but Jaden Wilkins gained possession of the ball and made a dash for the goal placing it nicely in the back of the net giving Ardington 2 goals and Harwell and Hendred their first defeat of the season.
